Nika Reinecke - Director of Economic Development and Planning, City of Lewisville

Nika Reinecke has more than 20 years of experience in the field of planning and development.  She specializes in contract negotiations, urban design solutions, joint public/private partnerships, development of incentive packages for recruitment activities, and marketing strategies.
In her current position, she oversees three divisions and ten staff members.  Nika was the Director of Community Development for the City of Keller for 12 years during the city’s largest growth period.  Her responsibilities included advising the city manager and city council on issues related to comprehensive planning, special studies for redevelopment, zoning administration, economic development strategies, and implementing policies for quality growth. 
Nika attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where she received a B.S. in Architecture in 1985 and an M.A. in Urban Affairs in 1988.
